Everybody's talking about "Weaponising Anti-Semitism"
I've been discussing my new book everywhere.
For the last month I’ve been in high demand from journalists and podcasters who want to cover my new book, Weaponising Anti-Semitism: How the Israel Lobby Brought Down Jeremy Corbyn.
Here’s some of my podcast and YouTube appearances about the book so far. I’ve recorded several others, so there’s more in the pipeline, but here’s what we’ve done so far.
We also held a book launch in London at the start of June, which went really well — we sold out all copies before the speeches even started. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who came. And special thanks go to the speakers: Ken Loach, Huda Ammori and Andrew Feinstein.
If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry, I’ll be going on tour with the book at events around the country soon. Stay tuned to my Substack for details soon.
Here’s some photos of the book launch:
Danny Haiphong and Katie Halper co-hosted a livestream with myself and Roger Waters, talking about the book, but we also discussed the recent attacks on Roger — a perfect example of the weaponised anti-Semitism smears I document.
The brilliant “Complaints on a Plate” podcast/YouTube channel hosted this excellent discussion in which we debated some of my conclusions in the book.
Rania Khalek hosted me on her BreakThrough News programme, Dispatches.
Al Araby TV (Arabic only) asked me on, to discuss the issue of weaponised anti-Semitism smears and how they suppress popular support for Palestine in the UK.
Not the Andrew Marr Show had also had me on a few weeks ago.
Aaron Good invited me onto his excellent podcast American Exception.
There was also the Current Affairs podcast with Nathan J. Robinson (paywall).
There have also been two extracts so far:
Declassified UK published the opening of the book.
And the Skwawkbox published an extract from chapter 6.

“A thorough, meticulous reporter… the book is revelatory… as careful and conscientious a historian as he is a journalist” —Richard Sanders, Middle East Eye
“A very courageous exposé of a taboo subject… a political thriller” —Deborah Maccoby, Jewish Voice for Labour
“Like a murder mystery” —Tanya Gold, Jewish Chronicle
“Vital reading” —Alexei Sayle | “Important” —Peter Oborne
My copy of your book arrived a couple of days ago. I haven't had a chance to start it yet, but I've watched/listened to some of the above (I love Complaints on a Plate and also both Heather and Claudia's channels) and am looking forward to learning more of the details from the book itself. I don't suppose you've had any interest from Novara or Owen Jones about it? 😉
I am delighted Asa with your book success. I ordered and paid for my book back when you first talked about the book with Ali and Nora on the Electronic Intifada Podcast. I am very sad to say I still haven’t had my book. I know I am in New Zealand but I paid the shipping costs so surely I should have it by now. Let’s hope it is in transit, as I can’t wait to read it.
