Believe it or not, next week marks one year since I founded this Substack!
In my view it’s been a moderate success. Many thanks to all of my subscribers, both paying and free. The extra bit of income certainly wouldn’t be enough to live on, but it’s a start.
Starting soon, I have plans to restructure this Substack so that I’m publishing more frequently. I will announce those plans next week, but first I want to hear from you.
What do think of the Substack so far? What would you like to see more of? What would you like to see less of?

I like the substack as it is. It is good to get the links to your work and the work of your colleagues, to catch up with points of view different to those we are force fed by MSM. I admire the investigative journalism and your fearlessness. The only advantage of publishing more frequently that I can see is another means of subverting the censorship of social media platforms, but don't sacrifice quantity for quality. I excellent substack per week is better than two mediocre ones.
Hiya Asa. I've read some of the comments and to be honest, I can't add too much more. I will add that your newsletter is a very welcome and vitally necessary outlet in a virtual cesspit of propaganda from the tory msm. Thank you and solidarity, brother ✊
Excellent journalism. More frequent would be welcome. And although Palestine remains the top issue perhaps a little more on the wider ME and the nefarious tangle of relationships with the West and its double standards and also with the emerging relationships ( hopefully not so nefarious) with China and a resurgent East.
This is a great substack - I like the way you act as a kind of clearing house for articles of relevance and provide your own insightful perspectives. Something of a godsend in these scary times
I enjoy the weekly sub stack ASA, very informative with links supporting your reporting. Much more professional than many other publications. Palestine is still the issue, provides so much verified information on Israeli politics and the subordination of Palestine people but also covers all aspects of politics again verified by credible evidence. As an ex labour member, I also value the inside information on Labour Party Purge and Forde report. I find it a trusted valuable resource, presented in a professional format as a sub stack. Enough compliments ASA, I would prefer it to stay as a weekly issue, I receive many emails from differing campaign and News resources and zoom meetings etc. I enjoy the sub stack and like to read links too, but truly any more than a weekly resource, would be too much for me personally. If you want to do it -, but quality is at least as important as quantity. Yes, there is much news, but more in depth reporting/ analysing is needed today more than ever.

One more thing; the freedom from editorial concerns and narratives that journalists, investigative and political, have on Substack is not easily found elsewhere, particularly when there are lots of said writers & journalists all here in one place. Substack has fast become a valuable resource.
It's been very good so far I think. Even more of your analysis and signposting to useful and informative materials would be great, but appreciate there are only so many hours in the day
I catch much of the content from your Twitter feed, but it's really helpful to pick up pieces I miss. A weekly round-up is helpful. Your writing and videos provide an essential perspective.
I rate Substack very highly. It’s where I do most of my reading about politics and current affairs. Culture too. It’s very convenient and I’m using it more and more.
