Urgent: YouTube censors today's EI livestream
Join us live NOW on Twitch, X or Facebook live.
YouTube has just placed a punitive freeze on The Electronic Intifada’s channel, alleging that several previous livestream segments violated their opaque “community guidelines.” We vigorously reject this. Our careful reporting and analysis are professional, ethical and factual.
This blatant act of censorship aimed at preventing us from freely discussing the situation in Palestine and the wider region includes banning us from posting videos or livestreaming on our YouTube Channel for seven days. This means we are unable to livestream our program today, 11 September 2024, via YouTube.
We refuse to be silenced!
The Electronic Intifada livestream will go ahead, but you will only be able to watch it on other platforms:

Have you considered going on Rumble?
Broke down when I couldn't get on to see, watch, hear from our professionals who "are the most important English language reporters on Palestine" as the amazing Matt Kennard calls you! Felt like a blow. After Richard Medhurst's & Kit Klarenberg's before that, then Sarah Wilkinson's. Craig Murray's piece on Richard's made it clear; law is what is reverse engineered now! And Richard's anger over Sarah's treatment moved me deeply too. Just as when he wept reporting on Shireen Abu Akle's deliberate murder... Good people. Please see about Rumble. Huge love & respect for the astonishing teamwork of the Wednesday report. Smile, bc Abu Baker says do it for the resistance. Resilience, like courage is contageous too! Bless you-all, every day, every moment!
