I notice you and Electronic Intifada use youtube a lot for video hosting, and I know you've had trouble with demonetisation. In my opinion the left really need to do more to ditch corporate platforms, especially one's owned by Google.
There are self-hosting video sites you can use as well. TILvids is one of them https://tilvids.com/ It's part of a thing called peer tube. It's worth checking out, I think. You could use a peertube platform alongside youtube, so if (when) youtube fails completely and become unusable, the peertube alternative *might* be established enough to take over, or at least be a backup.
I'm very much into decentralised social media because it gives people more control over content without the meddling and shadowbanning.
Anyway, I just thought you might be interested. I follow the TILvids account on social media and they're always looking for users and support and people power is all about working together and supporting each other.
