Interesting that "Kahane Lives," (founded by Meir Kahane’s son Binyamin following his father’s assassination in the United States) were declared to be a terrorist organization in March 1994 by the Israeli Cabinet under the 1948 Terrorism Law."

And isn't it also interesting that two years ago, the US State Department removed the Israeli group Kahane Chai from its list of "foreign terrorist organizations." 🤔

Imagine funding a "foreign terrorist organization"... that wouldn't do.

Asa,

This is a fascinating run down of how to infiltrate a group of liberal “outlayers” and turn them into “mainstream” fanatics: willing and able to believe “absurdity” and turn them into true “believers” who willingly commit atrocities…(is this how the old European National Socialists (aka: Nazis), did it???

Our news-media may have been infiltrated as well. ... It seems most of our corporate news-media — which is virtually all of the mainstream news-media, the sole exception being CBC — are either complicit in or support Israel’s campaign of mass suffering and slaughter in Gaza.

Their coverage of the Palestine-Israel conflict — present and past, but seemingly now more than ever — is to me almost unprecedented. Most have lost so much of their independence and humanity.

Any genuine journalist with integrity would tender their resignation and publicly proclaim they can no longer help propagate their employer’s corrupted product, be it from the Right or Left.

The most journalistically, and perhaps even morally, compromised news-media I've read is Canada’s National Post newspaper. You would really have to read it to believe it, especially since the Oct.7 Hamas attack on Israel.

It epitomizes an extreme example of an echo chamber promoting unconditional support for the Israeli state, including its very-long-practiced cruelty towards the Palestinian people. And I mean unconditional support. It's eerily mind-blowing how far downhill it has all gone.

More progressive outlets like Canada's other national newspaper, The Globe and Mail — progressive in regards to essentially following “woke” ideology — can be more deceitful with its essentially pro-Israel coverage and op/ed writing since 10/7. There seems to have been an attempt at appearing objective on this topic when it actually is not. ...

Some people may feel that a self-compromised or corrupt news media is better than no news media at all, but I do not.

Figures. ... Americans [and also-struggling Canadians with our prime ministers, for that matter] collectively deserve far better than just either the usual callous conservative or neo/faux liberal in the White House.

More so, it’s no longer sufficient for the Democratic Party's presidential candidate(s) to simply fully support party policy on core ‘woke’ issues: those of race, sexuality, gender, gender bending and unrestricted abortion access. A large enough proportion of Americans are financially struggling just that much.

Some non-corporately-commissioned polls have shown that a majority of Americans favor the governmental implementation of some public programs, especially universal health care. Yet, the Democratic National Committee apparently refuses to allow the genuinely fiscally progressive Senator Bernie Sanders as its presidential nominee, however many Democrat voters want him.

For example, every county in West Virginia voted for Sanders in the 2016 primaries, yet the DNC declared them as wins for Hillary Clinton! That doesn’t sound very democratic, does it?

I find it arrogantly presumptuous of the DNC and party (etcetera) to expect economically disenfranchised citizens to vote for an establishment Democrat candidate [e.g. Hillary Clinton] with thinly veiled ties to corporate interests and who’s not going to improve the poor person’s lot in life — simply to vote out or keep out an undesirable Republican. ... And to wait in long bad-weather lineups for the privilege!
