What got me initially more involved into the Palestinian Equal Rights movement (I don't like using Palestinian Liberation Movement because it misleads the narrative), what got me involved was reading the news about Nizar Banat murder. I did more research on Nizar and honestly found that his political views were also widely bankrupt. Made me realize the political vacuum and desperation of us the Palestinian people. I am, of course, against what they did to Nizar, however, the real problem we have is that there are no real Political alternatives.
Palestinians we got played. We were offered some sort of sovereignty (right to vote for our "congress" and President) so that we get distracted playing Politics instead of focusing our efforts on the Palestinian issue at hand. Yes, what Israel is doing is horrendous but as Palestinians we have to also admit that we are doing an awful job at organizing ourselves.
Yesterday at PMQs Independent MP Shockat Adam called for the PM to “end all military co-operation with Israel”. Starmer said he'd expressed his concerns to - the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority! And that a 2-state solution is the only path to peace.
Starmer's 2 states would be the genocidal entity and the PA. "On 14 March 2024, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas appointed Mohammad Mustafa as Prime Minister of the first technocratic government in Palestine’s history."
so this what judah looks like.
Jude again

But his potential to bridge gaps and seek pragmatic solutions could indeed be what both Palestine and Israel need in these turbulent times.
Groomed and Compromised
Servant of false self
Perhaps his new title
Is most fitting for his reign
Barren of Brains
And....
Like his fellow tins-men
Who stumble towards the prize
On their Yellow Brick Road
To that promised
Land of Oz
The exalted Barren of Brains
Is Desolate of a heart

All supporters of a free Palestine should read this
Asa. Early morning here in US. I wake up to your, for me, shocking post re the Palestinian Authority’s complicity with
Israel. There is no way out, therefore, for the thousands of Palestinians who
pray for peace and Justice! Yesterday I
was in the Library, in my town, and picked up a Harper’s Magazine which,
on its cover, showed “War on the West
Bank, What Choice for the Palestinians”. by Ben Ehrenreich. A
major supporter of Palestine for years.
From your post, it seems there is
very little choice.
