At this time, the UK is well in the lead. Without a speedy and full withdrawal of these draconian laws, Starmer will have confirmed his Nazi credentials.

The Sarah Wilkinson arrest seems (apart from all other complaints) very weird. Yes, there's the drift to the right but this is tangential in top gear. Is this extreme behaviour 'normal'? I mean, how legal was all that unnecessary harassment and breakage? idk. Seems to me like quite a few red lines were stepped over here. I hope that this event will not just be overlooked and ignored. Obviously, journalists receiving this treatment and being house-arrested doesn't sound very democratic. Starmer is a legals man. Much noise around this one is required. (Is it on the news? I don't watch MSM these days...)
Starmer is so awful and the UK is so dreadful to live in that I’m thinking of trying to leave. I’m only 1/8 English and have plenty of relations and friends in other countries. I have plenty here too and don’t want to abandon them, especially the elderly, who are worried about the Governments attitude to the old. Starmer said once he would always support Israel and his family are millionaire Zionists, so, basically, we’ve got what I expected.

Hello Asa and EI from CANADA. I have been trying to educate people about the true Israel-Palestine conflict and the Nekbah for 35 years but, it is shocking how most Canadians side with the Israelis and the USA's hatred of Muslims and all things Arab.
The Freedom Truckers Convoy (against C-19 Vaccine Mandates) in January 2022 revealled that our Bill of Rights and Freedoms has been severely eroded by the tyrannical Trudeau/Liberal government. Although the Emergency Measures Act was deemed unlawful, we now have two censorship bills on the books and a third on the way.
Our next federal election is slated for Oct 27, 2025 and Pierre Poilievre, Conservative Party is likely to win but, they too support Israel.
I wonder if you could please include Canada somehow in your discussions of the US and UK. Our legacy media has virtually ignored the student protests ( e.g. McGill Uni) and what few independent podcasters we have don't seem interested in the plight of the Palestinians for fear of being de-monitized and de-platformed.
