BRIEF: In this first instalment of an ongoing series of stand-alone articles, I draw upon the work of both #Jewish and non-Jewish academics, writers, researchers, analysts, journalists, activists and historians to present a critical, wide-ranging analysis of various facets of the mythos and the reality of #Israel, its history, its origins, and the ideology—Zionism—which birthed it.
